Ideal candidates will have a BS degree
in civil or agricultural engineering with surface water
hydrology/hydraulics experience. PE license or ability to obtain PE
license within 6 months required, 5-8 years experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include project management; supervision of
entry level engineers, floodplain and dam break modeling, stormwater
drainage analysis ; stormwater design, use/review of ESRI GIS
mapping products; supervision of technicians and engineers,
meetings/presentations to federal/state/local agencies and the
public, client development/marketing, technical and proposal
writing.
Knowledge/Experience:
The successful applicant will have 5-8 years experience as follows:
- Technical writing and communication
skills, and project management experience
- Municipal and federal stormwater
management, master planning, design, construction and regulation
- Familiarity with ESRI GIS products a
plus
- Surface water modeling with HEC-1,
HEC-HMS, HEC-2, HEC-RAS, XP- SWMM, CADD/GIS
Knowledge of USACE and FEMA floodplain management regulations and
procedures including FEMA’s Guidelines and Specifications for Flood
Hazard Mapping Partners
