Please support the 2026 EFK / GMCF GROW GREEN MATCH DAY!!

Carl & Mary Ice have again agreed to a 50% match on donations between $25 and $1000 to the April 22, Engineers’ Foundation of Kansas (EFK) / GMCF Grow Green Match Day!

Donations will go directly to EFK projects; the 50% match will grow the EFK endowment fund.

Why Give?Because . . . . .

 In the past year, EFK Grew Kansas STEM:

• MATHCOUNTS – helped send 4 Kansas students to National Competition, supplied new team registration fees, & provided promotional materials to grow the competition using income from the Don & Lynne Rathbone EFK Endowment honoring Lynda Rathbone ($3000)
• Future City - provided $1000 for Great Plains Regional Competition & supplied promotional materials
• Bridgebuilding - provided $$ to expand the competition to the Wichita Area
• Kansas BEST - provided $1000 and partnered w/ WSU & the KSPE Wichita Chapter
• KSPE K-12 Teacher Awards - awarded $500 each to three K-12 teachers / State winners
• KSPE Higher Education Award - provided $1000 to reward university educator
• KATM - expanded partnership w/ Kansas Association of Teachers of Math
• KGTC - developing partnership w/ Kansas Association for the Gifted, Talented & Creative
• MHS Little Apple Cyborgs (FRC Team 5968) - developed KSPE Tri-Valley Chapter partnership to support USFIRST team traveling to World Competition in Houston (raised $750)
•  We want to GROW KSPE Chapter Partners to reward $500 to local K-12 teachers nominated for the KSPE K-12 Teacher Award

 EFK Promoted Kansas Licensure

• Tom Mulinazzi / KU Ethics & Licensure Fund - awarded $$ to KU Engineering (We’ve reached 30% of our goal & need your EFK donations to cross the finish line)
• NCEES Grant – promoted licensure & provided eight rural Kansas schools with LEGO Mindstorm kits ($7000)

 EFK Supported Kansas Economic & Workforce Development

• Engineering Deans - collaborated to support University Engineering Initiative Act (UEIA)
• KSPE - provided information to inform the Kansas Legislature
• KSPE Eastern Chapter - partnered to promote E-Week luncheon & local projects ($1000)

• Mail In (do it now): Write your check payable to GMCF (designate EFK in the Memo.) Complete the attached donation form. Mail your check and attached form to:

Greater Manhattan Community Foundation at P.O. Box 1127, Manhattan, KS 66505 (must be received by April 22.)
