The KSPE Eastern Chapter provides funding to organizations/programs that promote the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).  The following shall be considered when applying:  

• The organization/program must be located within the counties of the Eastern Chapter of KSPE: Atchison, Doniphan, Leavenworth, Linn, Johnson, Miami, or Wyandotte.

• There will be two periods to request funding each year: the first occurring from August to December, and the second from January to May. 

• Each period may have up to $1,500 to disburse.

• Requests will be accepted and reviewed on a monthly basis.  The deadline for requests will be the last day of each month.  Any remaining funding will be made available the following month. 

• Once each period’s $1,500 disbursement is allocated, no requests will be reviewed until the next period.

• Funding may only be received once a year by each organization/program.

• All forms will be evaluated by a selection committee.  Recipients will be notified the status of their request by the end of the month following the submittal date. 

• All forms must be submitted on-line to be considered eligible for funds.

• KSPE Eastern Chapter reserves the right to reject any or all applications.
